January 18, 2009 Dearest Donna, I've just read your message about your mom, Chalmetta. It's hard to imagine your loss, but I'm glad that she is now at peace and in a much better place. As for my family, we can reminisce on the tender moments when we sat at the table on 6th Avenue and talked about things from the little dog, to St. Anslem Catholic School and beyond. Chalmetta was intelligent, wise, and witty; who would leave you thinking on what learned simply from a friendly conversation with her. Donna, we have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
